"Ein Kind gebohr'n zu Bethlehem" (#7)

 

I used a different registration for this one.  Usually, I use 16', 8', 4', and 2', but that sounded too heavy for this, so I used just 8' and 4'.

This is an-other tune with two sets of alternate notes, so I had to go through it three times.  The second set actually makes the tune a measure shorter.  (I kept the blank space at the bottom of the notation so it would still match up exactly with the other two iterations in the video.)

I decided to include the notation in these posts too because sometimes it can be a bit hard to read in the video.  I also went back and added the notation for previous tunes.

In the manuscript, there's a note in the top corner of this page.  I can't make out all of it, but I think it indicates that #4 and #5 are the same tune.  This is evident from the notation itself, and in place of a title for #5, Telemann has written "oder" ("or").

"Ach Gott, erhör mein Seufzen" (#3)

 

This has two sets of alternate notes for one measure, so I had to go through it three times.
